The members of Red Velvet are all beautiful faces with different charms, and in the group, Joy is known for her fresh image. Recently, the 1996-born singer revealed what the other members' first impressions were of him.
Joy is currently gearing up for her solo debut at the end of May, and appeared on the latest episode of Jessica H.o. or better known as Jessi. During an interview segment with Jessi and announcer Jo Jung Shik, Joy was asked to share stories of the first time she met fellow Red Velvet members at SM Entertainment.
"What is the first impression your members have of you?" asked Jo Jung Shik. Joy revealed that contrary to her bright image, the members had completely different views when they first met.
Joy said that during their trainee days, they called her a "ghost who lives in the vocal room" because of her cold initial demeanor and messy hair. "Back then, when I was a trainee ... (They called me) a cold city girl?
The owner's real name Park Sooyoung continued, "In the past, I had long hair like this. So people who don't know me will call me 'a ghost who lives in the vocal room.'"
Joy then talked about how much she changed visually from her pre-debut days, and revealed that her image used to be very different. "Before debut, I looked very different from the way I look now," said Joy. (wk / dewi)
