Different Opinions, Scriptwriter "Taxi Driver" Decides to Leave Drama Production

SBS drama "Taxi Driver" officially changed its scriptwriter after disagreements with the director.

On May 17th, a source from the drama production side explained, "Due to the disagreements between the writer and director regarding the project direction, scriptwriter Oh Sang Ho agreed to step down, and it was decided that scriptwriter Lee Ji Hyun would write the remaining episodes."

The drama party, which has received a replacement, namely scriptwriter Lee Ji Hyun, revealed that the drama script had been written by a new script writer since episode 11 which aired last May 14.

The drama "Taxi Driver", adapted from a popular webtoon in Korea, tells the story of a mysterious taxi service that is tasked with taking revenge on behalf of victims who do not receive justice from the law.

The drama, starring Lee Je Hoon and Esom, has aired 12 episodes and will end in 2 weeks after airing the remaining 4 episodes.

"Taxi Driver" became SBS's Friday-Saturday weekend drama to replace the broadcast time of "Penthouse 2" which was quite successful with the drama achieving the highest rating of 16% and stable at 10-15% in its last episodes.
