The sci-fi film starring Song Joong Ki and Kim Tae Ri, 'Space Sweepers' is rumored to have a sequel.
Reporting from the media outlet Star News on Monday (17/05), the film "Space Sweepers" reportedly will get a sequel to the continuation of the spacecraft named Victory and its crew.
The film's VFX supervisors Jeong Seong Jin and Jeong Cheol Min have further agreed to lead the sequel work after leading the previous VFX team.
Both of them managed to bring home the award trophy from the '57th Baeksang Arts Awards' thanks to the success of 'Space Sweepers' and the application of technology in the making of South Korea's first space-themed sci-fi film.
But until now, there is still no news whether Song Joong Ki, Kim Tae Ri, Yoo Hae Jin, and Jin Sun Kyu, who are the main characters as crew members of the Victory spaceship, are back in the sequel.
