Junho 2 PM's religious background was in the spotlight when appearing on the "I Live Alone" program on Friday (21/5). This is his first guest appearance since being discharged from the military in March.
It is known, "I Live Alone" is a program that shows the life of celebrities who live alone. That's why this program follows their routine since waking up in the morning.
Junho seemed to start the day casually. As soon as he wakes up, he sits in the living room and starts tapping on wooden fish, a property commonly used by Buddhist monks when performing religious rituals.
Junho's behavior sparked the curiosity of the "I Live Alone" members. They then asked him if he was a Buddhist.
After hearing the question, Junho immediately rebutted. He claims to be Christian, but feels calm when he taps on a wooden fish so he goes to a Buddhist temple to buy it.
Junho explained, "To be honest, I'm Christian. I went to the temple and bought wooden fish. I don't think I should be caught doing it as if I was buying other artist's merchandise."
"I had to work to control my mindset earlier this year. And I felt relaxed when I tapped the wooden fish," continued the 31-year-old idol.
Meanwhile, Junho will be starring in a new drama entitled "The Red Sleeve Cuff". In this 18th century drama, Junho plays Crown Prince Lee San who falls in love with a lady named Sung Deok Im (Lee Se Young).
After ascending to the throne to become King Jeongjo, he wants to make Sung Deok Im his concubine. But she was rejected outright because Sung Deok Im wanted to live her life freely, something that could not happen in a concubine's life. (wk / eval)
