After 17 years, Sandara Park officially left YG Entertainment. This was announced by the agency formed by Yang Hyun Suk in its official statement on May 14, 2021.

“YG Entertainment and Sandara Park's exclusive contracts have ended. We thank him for being with YG with trust and love, ”the agency said as quoted by Soompi, Friday (14/5/2021).

Sandara Park joined YG as a trainee in 2004. She then debuted with 2NE1 in 2009. Not only in music, the 36-year-old idol has shown her talents in various fields, including acting, fashion, beauty, and presenter.
“We hope that fans will continue to support him so that his positive energy will shine even brighter. Once again, we thank fans for the love given to Sandara Park as a YG artist to date, "he said.
With Dara leaving YG Entertainment, all 2NE1 personnel officially left the agency. Minzy became the first member to leave YG and 2NE1 in May 2016.

Then on November 25, 2016, YG Entertainment announced, 2NE1 officially disbanded following the departure of Park Bom. Then March 2019, CL, the former leader of 2NE1, decided to leave the agency after his exclusive contract ended.
