Success with their debut single "Black Mamba," aespa comeback with a new single titled "Next Level." On Thursday (27/5), SM Entertainment released the third performance video for the song that drew attention.

A post on the online community site Theqoo highlighted the video for the third "Next Level" performance. What distinguishes this video from the previous two videos is the presence of four avatars or ae members on the stage.

At several moments in the video, scenes of the aespa members are replaced by their avatars who are also singing and dancing on stage. This of course made Karina and her friends' stage acts different from other groups.

However, netizens actually complained about the quality of the avatars of the four aespa members displayed, including their appearance that has not changed since the "Black Mamba" era last year. Even so, some other netizens provided support.

"It's okay ... I can't wait to see how they use their avatars in the future," commented netizens. "I don't know anything else, but I hope they can change their avatar clothes," said another netizen. "Why can't they change their avatar's clothes? Why are they always the same clothes?" said another.

"They look like avatars dancing in a karaoke room ..." said netizens. "What about the quality? I can't watch it because the quality is so bad," another commented. "SM spends money on useless things ..." added another. (wk / dewi)
