It is an honor for Red Velvet's Wendy to become the first Korean artist to represent the campaign. As is known, Wendy recently debuted as a solo artist after a one year hiatus from group activities for health reasons.
"In my opinion, it means a lot to be able to join the campaign," said Wendy when asked about herself joining the 'Equal' movement. He revealed that he wanted to work with people in the music industry so that all artists could be further recognized.
"I want everyone to work together in the music industry so that the voices of other artists around the world can be further recognized," he continued. "Equal" is a campaign undertaken to expand and support the voices of female artists and music creators worldwide.
