Recently rapper Loco showed his concern for the lower middle class through an action. The owner of the real name Kwon Hyuk Woo is working with the South Korean Red Cross to help underprivileged children.
Loco produces 100 set lunch menus in the form of homemade burgers. The lunch menu was distributed to children from vulnerable families on Monday (26/4). Loco's action was carried out at his restaurant Famous Burger, located in Sinsa-Dong, Gangnam.
Meanwhile, the burger that Loco shared is a best seller menu from his restaurant which is a favorite of many customers. The luncheon menu consists of a variety of side dishes such as potatoes and cabbage or coleslaw salad.
Next, Loco's set lunch is delivered to three houses together in Gangnam and Seocho. The common house contains children and youth who live side by side. Loco was assisted by the Red Cross team to distribute the food he made.
Regarding the action, Loco said, "I am very happy to be able to share the warmth with the staff of The Famous Burger. I hope the children can be happy for a while after eating the lunch menu filled with sincerity. So that the children do not lose their dreams and hopes."
Loco's humanitarian action is not the first time. The 1989-born singer has actively participated in campaign activities and becomes a volunteer. In addition, he has been appointed as an ambassador for the Korean Red Cross since May 25 2018.
Since October 2020, Loco has reportedly donated 10 million won each month to the Red Cross. Thus, Loco is a great example for the public. So it is not surprising if he is so loved by the public.
As is well known, the name Loco became known since becoming a contestant for the survival show for the rappers "Show Me The Money" or SMTM. The singer of "Say Yes" even won the SMTM and reaped success afterwards. Currently Loco is a member of AOMG, Jay Park's agency. (wk / wahy)
