It was announced that HYBE will be opening a museum next month. Called 'HYBE INSIGHT, The Museum Will Open To The Public On May 14th, And Will Be Located On The First And Second Ground Floor Of The Company's New Headquarters.
K-Pop fans some time ago were surprised by the formation of HYBE Labels. HYBE itself is a South Korean company founded by Bang Si Hyuk as Big Hit Entertainment. The company has several subsidiaries, including Big Hit Music, Source Music, Pledis Entertainment, Belift Lab, Hybe Labels Japan and KOZ Entertainment, collectively known as Hybe Labels.
It was recently announced that HYBE will open a museum next month. Called "HYBE INSIGHT", the museum will open to the public on May 14th, and will be located on the first and second ground floors of the company's new headquarters in Yongsan, Seoul.
"HYBE INSIGHT" will later be made into a complex cultural venue with an area of approximately 4,700 square meters. It expresses HYBE's perspective on music in many ways, and it is meant to commemorate HYBE's music, artists and fans.
"HYBE INSIGHT" will be aimed at implementing HYBE's new mission, "We Believe in Music". This will be supported by various exhibitions, spaces and content so that visitors can feel the power and extraordinary emotions of HYBE's music.
Along with various contents created by HYBE artists, there will be stories about HYBE music made by the artist and label maker. In addition, the museum will include recordings of the artists 'and fans' moments of glory, as well as spaces where visitors can enjoy music using their five senses.
"HYBE INSIGHT" is operated with an online pre-order system. Visitors who wish to visit the museum can register via the "HYBE INSIGHT" official website which opens on April 26 KST and the mobile app which will open on May 3 KST.
Back in March, Big Hit announced its rebranding as an entertainment lifestyle platform company under the name Hybe Corporation. On March 19, the company released an online presentation detailing its organizational restructuring, and stated that the name "Big Hit Entertainment" (associated with its music operations) would become Big Hit Music under HYBE's new Label division.
The name change was subject to a shareholder meeting held on March 30. The presentation also provided an overview of the design of the newly completed HYBE headquarters located at the Yongsan Trade Center in Yongsan District, the company officially moved into the building on March 22nd.
