Slowly but surely, ONF is climbing success in the midst of increasingly fierce competition between boy groups. ONF has been reaping success after releasing an album titled "ONF: My Name on their last comeback last February.
Launching Naver, WM Entertainment revealed ONF's plans to repackage the album "ONF: My Name" and add three new songs. So that the album "ONF: My Name" which originally consisted of 11 songs will become 14 songs. The representative from the agency which also oversees OH MY GIRL added, "ONF has been scheduled to comeback with a repackaged album at the end of April."
Previously, the song "Beautiful Beautiful" managed to occupy places on both domestic and international charts. The song also made ONF successfully win the music program trophy for the first time since debut. The achievements made by ONF have undoubtedly increased the popularity of the group consisting of Hyojin, E-Tion, J-Us, Wyatt, MK and U.
Furthermore, it was reported that ONF is also receiving hot spotlight from the international media. The media that participated in reporting on their success were Forbes magazine from the United States, FAULT magazine from England, and the daily newspaper SCMP from Hong Kong. This proves that the global impact of ONF is stronger than its domestic impact.
At first, ONF was introduced as a pre-debut group called WM Boys. They performed for the first time when they were backup dancers for B1A4 at the 2016 Dream Concert. On May 25, 2017, WM Boys performed the song "Original" at the IDOLCON event.
Not only that, all ONF members have also been contestants on the survival program "MIXNINE". Hyojin ended up in second place because of his outstanding vocal skills. Even though in the end Hyojin canceled his debut with other MIXNINE winners due to internal problems.
As is known, ONF's popularity has skyrocketed after participating in the MNET "Road To Kingdom" event in 2020. During his time as a contestant, ONF showed his charm through stunning music colors and choreography.
