Lee Dong-wook has finished filming his latest film "Single in Seoul". The actor who was born in 1981 immediately underwent an interview and photo shoot with Arena magazine.
In his interview, Lee Dong Wook talked about the unexpected hardships he experienced while filming “Single in Seoul” during the COVID-19 pandemic. "I think we should be less transparent about the shooting schedule," said Lee Dong Wook.
"It has also become more difficult to find locations for filming. In the past, we got permission or sponsorship from public agencies and public spaces, but those spaces were closed due to the pandemic," added Lee Dong Wook.
"For example, our next filming location is an apartment complex. In the past, it would have been easy to get permission to shoot there, but now the residents are against many people entering," added Lee Dong Wook.
"'Single in Seoul' was supposed to end filming a week ago, but was rejected due to location issues. This is a problem not only in places that were easy to create in the past, such as Namsan and Han River, but also in police stations, law courts, and airports. Finding the location in general has become a job in itself, "continued Lee Dong Wook.
Lee Dong Wook also revealed the use of masks in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. "While working, we have to take off our masks, but we wear masks when we do our hair and make-up," said Lee Dong Wook.
"We have to wear them even when going to the bathroom on set. Even in interviews, we wear masks. Except for the times when we are really in front of the camera, we always wear masks," concluded Lee Dong Wook.
