AKMU's Lee Chanhyuk responds to accusations that he has 'G-Dragon's disease'

In the latest episode of "Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook" aired by KBS, Lee Chanhyuk Akdong Musician (AKMU) appeared as a guest star. Here, he discusses accusations from fans that he has "G-Dragon's disease."

Yoo Hee Yeol thanked Lee Chan Hyuk because the source of the rumors was his appearance with his younger brother, Lee Suhyun, in the previous episode of "Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook". "The clip has been viewed more than 2 million times. It's still trending online if you search, 'Chanhyuk with GD Disease,'" said Yoo Hee Yeol.

When AKMU performed "Give Love" and "200%" on the show last year, the clip went viral due to Lee Chan Hyuk's different way of making facial expressions and singing songs. Many accused Lee Chan Hyuk of contracting “G-Dragon's Disease” after that, which refers to the distinctive style BIG BANG's G-Dragon had when he appeared.

As a result, fans jokingly dropped out of "soulful Chanhyuk" and "swag Chanhyuk" anymore. But Lee Chan Hyuk responded to the accusations in a casual manner.

"I think what everyone needs to worry more about is the fact that I don't know what the problem is. Is something wrong?" said Lee Chanhyuk. According to this talented musician, he just wants to enjoy his stage act he has no regrets about it.
