Yugyeom GOT7 recently sat down with ELLE Korea to talk about his favorite items. One of the items on display is a special birthday gift from gang 97.
This marks Yugyeom's first official activity since joining his new agency AOMG. The 1997-born idol started the video by showing his "vintage" iPhone.
"I'm not good at taking care of my cellphone. I've changed it about 5 times now. I'll call it 'hammer'," said Yugyeom.
The next item he shared with ELLE Korea viewers was the beautiful and meaningful bag he received from one of the fans. "This bag I travel the most. I received it as a gift from one of my fans. It seems that he is around 5-6 years old," he explained.
Yugyeom then shows him the Cartier bracelet he received from the other 97 gang mates. It is said that they are joint venture for this luxurious gift.
"I received this for my birthday. Jungkook BTS (Bangtan Boys), Mingyu SEVENTEEN (II), Jaehyun NCT and Cha Eunwoo ASTRO, the four of them raised money to buy it for me," he said.
Yugyeom only named the bracelet “97” because it was a gift given by his friends who were born in the same year. He showed off the bracelet and said to the camera, "Are you guys watching? I wear this every day."
The next piece of jewelry Yugyeom revealed was the same necklace as the other GOT7 members. "This necklace is something we bought together. The pendant is triangular, but if you put the seven pendants together, it becomes a hexagon. It has a very special meaning. I will name it this one, 'White Dandelion,'" he said.
Yugyeom then showed off his fine watch collection including his Fendi and Rolex. He said, "My members got this for me. The Fendi watch is a gift from Jackson hyung and the Rolex watch is a present from Bambam."
Yugyeom then showed off some of the newly acquired AOMG merchandise. "Furthermore, we have hats and stickers that were given to me by AOMG," he said.
After showing his AOMG merchandise, Yugyeom assured fans that GOT7 is still together, "All of us, we are not apart." (wk / chus)
