The Indian singer was again caught plagiarizing K-Pop music videos.
The music video for 'Booty Shake' released by Desi Music Factory recently drew criticism from K-Pop fans.
“Booty Shake” is a music video by singer Tony Kakkar, who collaborated with Sonu Kakkar, Hansika Motwani, Sheetal Pery, Anshul Garg, and Satti D.
The music video has recently been in the spotlight of K-Pop fans, especially BLACKPINK fans, because of its similarity to BLACKPINK's 'Ice Cream' music video and Selena Gomez.
This is not the first time Desi Music Factory has been criticized for plagiarizing K-Pop music videos, as they have previously been criticized for plagiarizing B1A4 and IZ * ONE music videos, although in the end they claim to be inspired by the music video.
Similarities are seen in the studio set and the clothes worn by dancers in the “Booty Shake” music video, to the studio set and BLACKPINK members' clothes in the “Ice Cream” music video.
Until now, Desi Music Factory and YG Entertainment's agency still have not given their statement regarding the plagiarism controversy.
