Nielsen Korea noted, The Penthouse 2's ratings reached 18.8 and 24 percent for both parts. This result made the drama directed by Joo Dong Min and Park Po Ram dominate drama ratings on all channels.

Not only that, the drama, starring the actress Eugene and Kim So Yeon, also showed a growing rating for viewers aged 20 to 49 years. In that demographic, the average rating is 10.5 percent.
On the national TV channel, KBS 2TV weekend drama Homemade Love Story still maintained ratings of 23.8 and 28.5 percent for both parts. While the tvN drama, Vincenzo still dominates the cable TV drama rating even though it recorded a rating decline.
