SM Entertainment's new girl group aespa has released a remake of Yoo Young Jin's 2000 song "Forever" on February 5th. Girls' Generation's Tae Yeon gave her support as an agency senior.

As soon as "Forever" was released, Tae Yeon gave his support through Instagram Story. The 1989-born singer posted photos of aespa's beautiful appearance in the music video and marked their official account. Tae Yeon wrote the captions "good" and "pretty."

Tae Yeon's support for Karina and friends as fellow SM artists drew admirable comments from netizens. However, they question Tae Yeon's intention of writing the "fine."

"Does Tae Yeon mean they are good because they have to wear clothes like that? Honestly, their clothes are not okay," commented netizens. "Even though it sounds out of context, he must be eager to show support for them," added another netizen. "Tae Yeon is really the best, but the 'good' caption is honestly confusing and funny," said another.

"I think he deliberately said 'good' to suppress some of the negative rumors circulating about aespa. No matter how many netizens try to talk ill of them without evidence with their eyes and ears closed, aespa is still loved and cared for by seniors like Tae Yeon," concluded another.

Meanwhile, aespa debuted with a song called "Black Mamba" on November 17, 2020. Aespa's debut music video became the debut music video with the most views on YouTube in the first 24 hours.

In just two months since debut, aespa has made their first music show win with "Black Mamba". They are now the fourth SM Entertainment group to win music shows with their debut song. (wk / chus)
