Malaysian actor Nazim Othman commented on a post about his character "Lisa Blackpig" where he replied, "oink oink" with a laugh. BLACKPINK fans were offended by the comment.
BLINK (BLACKPINK's fandom) requested that his social media be removed and reported, while many people stopped supporting his drama and songs.
Janna recently apologized during a virtual press conference, stating, "I take full responsibility for this and sincerely apologize to all those who were hurt with the uploaded caption."

His lawyer, Ben Syazmin, was also present and gave an explanation of the problem and the action to be taken. He stated, "Blackpig's Lisa does not represent BLACKPINK's Lisa in any way. This is a tribute to BLACKPINK's Lisa because movie characters will never be on her level."
"My client will continue legal action against the individual who has made a viral video alleging that he made fun of the death of K-Pop idol (SHINee's Jonghyun) in 2017. Previously, Janna had already provided an explanation and apologized for the matter, but it became. viral again on social media which resulted in my client receiving a barrage of insults. "
Janna's lawyer continued, "Because of this unfortunate incident, Janna has received death threats, criminal intimidation, lies and false accusations that require serious action for her security."
In light of the alleged humiliation of Lisa, the hashtag #Jannanickisgoingtojailparty has trended on Twitter with fans asking Janna Nick to stop and reflect on her actions. They asked K-Pop fans not to see this as Malaysia as a whole and to be kind to fellow Malaysian BLINKs. (wk / chus)
