Recently rising actor Kim Young Dae appeared in a photo shoot and interview with The Star magazine. On this occasion, the star of the series "Extraordinary You" talked about his hit drama "The Penthouse" and more.
In keeping with the pictorial theme of Valentine's Day, the interview began with a question about what gift Kim Young Dae hopes to receive on the upcoming holidays. "I want to be scented," he said simply.
Kim Young Dae is currently starring in the hugely popular SBS drama "The Penthouse" as Joo Seok Hoon, the son of real estate tycoon Joo Dan Te played by Uhm Ki Joon. When asked which scene from the drama he thought was most memorable, Kim Young Dae replied, "There was a scene in the last episode of Season 1 where Seok Hoon and Seok Kyung cried because their mother had died. Seok Kyung burst into tears, and I also felt very much. sad. I really empathized with Seok Hoon in that scene.
The next question asked Kim Young Dae to choose between the character Joo Seok Kyung, his twin brother in the drama, and Bae Ro Na, his girlfriend. "Family? Or love? Personally, I think Seok Hoon's character will choose Ro Na. Even though he always felt the need to protect Seok Kyung, I think the center of gravity in Seok Hoon's life changed after the arrival of Ro Na's character."
Kim Young Dae shared about his passion for acting and how he was constantly thinking about ways to improve. "I worry about how I can make viewers relate to my character (in any project) as well as what kind of charm I can show. I'm working hard to improve and show more maturity as an actor. Even characters that look alike to each other. definitely has a distinct appeal. I want to highlight such important points in detail, "he exclaimed.
Whereas recently, Kim Young Dae talked about his personality in real life and the wrong first impression people often have of him. "Everyone at first thought that I was the type of person who would not talk much and have an aloof personality, but I didn't like it all. I talk a lot, and I have a fun and easygoing personality," he said.
