One of the members of Red Velvet, Irene is known to be busy with shooting her latest film entitled "Double Patty". Not only being an actor, Irene will also be a duet with her partner Shin Seung Ho to sing the OST "Double Patty".
For their upcoming film, Irene and Shin Seung Ho will be singing a special OST titled "White Night" and "Night Sky" (literal translation). The song "White Night" was inspired by a poem of the same name written by poet Baek Seok in his collection of poems entitled "Deer".
Shin Seung Ho as Kang Woo Ram will be singing the vintage rock song "Night Sky," which depicts the cool summer nights on the streets of Itaewon. Meanwhile, Irene as Lee Hyun Ji will sing the waltz song 'White Night' which depicts the elegance of youth.
Irene and Shin Seung Ho's charismatic voices will make viewers' hearts flutter when Lee Hyun Ji and Kang Woo Ram's relationship begins one summer night. The "Double Patty" OST will be released on February 14 at noon KST, and the music video will be previously released via Genie Music.
"Double Patty" itself is a film about young people who pursue their dreams and embark on a joyful journey of growth and development. Irene plays Lee Hyun Ji, a female news anchor who works tirelessly to achieve her dreams, while Shin Seung Ho plays Kang Woo Ram, a former ssireum (Korean wrestling) athlete.
The film "Double Patty" will premiere on February 17th. The new teaser trailer for "Double Patty" begins with Irene being tested while reading the news aloud but is interrupted by the judges with harsh criticism. At the same time, Shin Seung Ho lost the match and found himself caught in a slump.
