Sooyoung was a guest star on the KBS radio program "Cho FM" on Thursday (4/2). At one point during the conversation, radio host Cho Woo Jong and the SNSD (Girls' Generation) member started talking about love.
Sooyoung was asked what love means. "Well, nothing special. Love is not something great. I feel we use too much of this 'romantic' filter," said Sooyoung.
"This question itself shows how much meaning we put into love, but I believe love is just everyday life that is not special in any way," added Sooyoung.
"I also think love is a part of your lover's life without you knowing it yourself and only loving each other. If love is too great, it could be wrong. That's what I thought."
Sooyoung's narrative about the meaning of love made Cho Woo Jong jokingly ask a worried question. "Nothing happened between you and ... Right?" asked Cho Woo Jong.
What Cho Woo Jong meant was about Sooyoung's romantic relationship with Jung Kyung Ho. But Sooyoung laughed and confirmed that there was no problem in her love story by commenting, "Of course! Everything is fine."
Sooyoung and Jung Kyung Ho's relationship this year will be in their 8th year. In a previous interview, Sooyoung was asked about the secret to the longevity of their relationship, Sooyoung attributed this to their natural chemistry.
