Previously sad news came from a former member of 2NE1 CL where her mother reportedly passed away. A few days later, through his personal Instagram account, CL himself has written a heartfelt grief for losing his loved ones and loved ones.

As if he wanted to give his late mother something special, CL will also release a new song dedicated to his beloved mother. This is known from the new video posting on his Youtube channel with the title "Wish You Were Here" where the new MV will premiere on February 26 which is also CL's birthday.

CL's mother is known to have died on January 23 at the age of 53 due to sudden cardiac arrest. The extended family of "Happy" singers held a private funeral on February 10. On February 16, CL shared a photo of herself and her mother along with a sweet message, thanking those who supported her and telling fans that she feels like her mother will live through her.

Whereas since the announcement of CL's new song for her late mother, many fans have shared messages of support for the artist on various social media platforms such as Twitter. Meanwhile, CL has just made a comeback with the album "Alpha" in early 2021, which is her first project since leaving YG Entertainment.
