The increasing number of racists against people from the Asian-American race received special attention from Peniel, which made him intrigued to spread out Insta Story posts like this.

BTOB Peniel

Recently Peniel uploaded a recent post on his personal Instagram account. In the Insta Story upload, Peniel attracted enough attention because he brought up issues about race.

Especially with the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the rate of cases of racism and racially motivated attacks against Asian-Americans is increasing. Feeling unable to stand the increasing number of racist acts against people of the Asian-American race, Peniel ventured to upload posts that read like sensitive issues.

To show his support for Asian-Americans, Peniel wrote a message of peace for humanity. "Asians should be included in our anti-racism (movement)," Peniel wrote.

Peniel is not the first K-Pop artist to voice his support for the anti-racist movement. Previously, Jay Park also had time to voice his opinion. At that time he wanted to show public support for the "Black Lives Matter" movement. This time, Peniel also wants to show his solidarity with Asian-Americans.

On January 28, a young man pushed Vicha Ratanapakdee, an 84-year-old Thai man, during his morning walk in the San Francisco neighborhood. Vicha eventually died of his injuries.

In recent weeks, a 91-year-old Chinese man in San Francisco was also pushed onto the pavement from behind in an unprovoked attack. These attacks raise concern over anti-Asian violence and harassment which some leaders of the Asian-American community say are sparked by references to the coronavirus as "Chinese virus" or "Kung Flu".

Meanwhile, [BtoB] will be appearing on the survival show "Kingdom". Previously, many agencies reportedly refused to appear on the follow-up program of "Road to Kingdom". "Kingdom" itself is known as the male version of "Queendom" which is followed by female groups and soloists. Mamamoo became the winner at the event defeating Park Bom, Oh My Girl, (G) I-DLE, Lovelyz, and AOA. /wowkeren.com
