On February 1st, YG Entertainment officially stated, "Our headline data shows that around 280,000 people purchased a membership on YouTube to gain access to THE SHOW."

The agency continued, "We didn't want to highlight the quantitative aspect of the show, but decided to reveal the number of viewers after receiving many requests. YG and YouTube will confirm the figure later."

Given that the membership fee is 36,000 won to 48,000 won (around 453 thousand - 604 thousand rupiah) depending on the profit, the gross sales of the 90-minute show are estimated to have reached over 10 billion won (around 126 billion rupiah).

YG added that about 2.7 million new people subscribed to BLACKPINK's YouTube channel after the group announced that it would hold an online concert. As of Monday afternoon, the number of subscribers has been more than 56 million.

Unlike many other K-pop online concerts, BLACKPINK's shows don't take advantage of many advanced technologies such as virtual reality (VR) to captivate the audience, but only emphasize the members' voices and movements, as is the case with “offline” concerts ./ dreamers.id
