Actress Eugene expressed her views regarding the huge success that the SBS drama, The Penthouse, has achieved. The drama is even more memorable because it marks his comeback project after 5 years of absence.

But Eugene admitted that he was worried about accepting an offer to star in The Penthouse. "Suddenly, 5 years just passed," he said as quoted by Noblesse Men magazine, Saturday (27/2/2021).

The S.E.S personnel added, "For an actor, 5 years is a long vacuum. Honestly, I'm worried and wondering whether I can start acting again?"
That worry, according to the mother of two, made her almost turn down an offer to star in The Penthouse. Besides not feeling ready, he also considered that the character Oh Yoon Hee that was handed over to him was not easy to play.
"This character has very extreme and shocking emotions," said actor Ki Tae Young's wife.
However, his family and close people asked Eugene to accept the role. Family and colleagues, gave the strength to Eugene to return to acting.
