Adding to the list of viewing collections for Korean drama connoisseurs, here are eight drama names from various Korean television broadcasts that have and will soon air their first episodes in the near future.
1. River Where the Moon Rises (KBS)
The first drama is the KBS drama 'River Where the Moon Rises' which fills the broadcast slot every Monday and Tuesday night at 21.30 KST.
The drama, which has aired its first episode on February 15, starring Kim Soo Hyun and Ji Soo, tells the story of Goguryeo's daughter, Pyong Gang, who will meet a man named On Dal.
2. Hello, Me! (KBS)
The next drama is 'Hello, Me!'. The drama, which also airs on KBS, first aired its first episode on February 17, taking broadcast slots every Wednesday and Thursday night at 21.30 KST.
This drama tells the story of Ban Ha Ni, a 37 year old single woman who will meet herself at the age of 17 with a personality that is very opposite to her current personality. The drama will star actress Choi Gang Hee with actor Kim Young Kwang.
3. Dear. M (KBS)
The next KBS drama that will air soon is' Dear. M 'which will star various young actors and actresses ranging from NCT's Jaehyun, Bae Hyun Sung, Lee Jin Hyuk, Park Hye Soo, Roh Jeong Eui, Woo Da Vi and many others.
Tells about a search made for the initials "M" who wrote something on a community bulletin board on the Seoyeon University website. The paper turned the university upside down.
The drama, which will be aired every Friday night, will premiere on February 26, 2021.
4. Penthouse 2 (SBS)
The latest season of the drama series “Penthouse” is also one of the dramas that viewers are eagerly waiting for.
The drama, which tells the story of several families and the complex conflicts that occurred in a luxury apartment called Hera Palace, has become the hottest drama since it was aired last October 2020.
The second season of the drama, which fills the broadcast slot for Friday Saturday at 10 p.m. KST, is scheduled to air its first episode on Friday night, February 19, 2021.
5. Sisyphus: The Myth (JTBC)
The drama, which has replaced the broadcast slot for the drama 'Run On' every Wednesday-Thursday night on JTBC, has aired its first episode on February 17th.
Tells the story of time travel between a genius engineer Han Tae Sul (played by Cho Seung Woo) and his savior from the future Kang Seo Hae, played by beautiful actress Park Shin Hye.
6. Beyond Evil (JTBC)
The drama 'Beyond Evil', which replaces Girls' Generation's Yoona's' Hush ', has aired its episode for the first time on February 19 and will be broadcast every Friday and Saturday at 11 p.m. KST.
'Beyond Evil' is a drama starring senior actor Shin Ha Kyun with handsome actor Yeo Jin Goo.
Tells about a capable detective named Lee Dong Sik who works at a police station in a small town. Conflict then arises after detective Han Joo Won is transferred to the same police station and works as Lee Dong Sik's boss and colleague.
7. Vincenzo (tvN)
The drama "Vincenzo" will be Song Joong Ki's comeback drama project after last appearing through "Arthdal Chronicles".
TvN's new drama, which will fill broadcasting slots every Saturday and Sunday at 9 p.m. KST, will air its first episode on February 20.
"Vincenzo" is a drama that tells the story of a real child (age 8 years) from Korea named Park Joo Hyeong who is adopted by a family in Italy to grow up as a lawyer named Vincenzo Casano.
8. Times (OCN)
As a replacement for “The Uncanny Counter” which became OCN's recent hit drama, the drama “Times” which will be broadcast every Saturday and Sunday 10.30pm KST is also eagerly awaited by viewers.
'Times' tells about senior reporter Lee Jin Woo who has only focused on pursuing the truth since 2015. In 2020, a girl who works as a lawyer named Seo Jung In appears.
Seo Jung In is passionate and youthful at work, as the two of them connect via phone calls. The two reporters from different generations then tried to prevent the death of South Korean President Seo Ki Tae, who is also Seo Jung In's father.
The drama premiere will be broadcast on February 20th!
