Kwak Dong Yeon made his acting debut at the age of 15 through his role as Bang Jang Goon in the drama series My Husband Got A Family. His acting debut also caught the attention of viewers and won the 'Best Young Actor' award at the 2012 Korea Drama Awards. His acting in the drama was also nominated for the same at the 2012 KBS Drama Awards.
