Jung Il Woo shared a video on his YouTube channel showing a glimpse of his friendship with Kim Bum on Friday (7/1). The two started to be close since both starred in "Unstoppable High Kick".
Jung Il Woo commented that a friend who would comfort his loneliness had just arrived at his place. His friend turned out to be none other than Kim Bum who appeared in casual clothes with a mask and he smiled shyly at the camera.
Kim Bum was fascinated with the idea of vlogging and Jung Il Woo told him to feel comfortable because the editor will do all the work to make sure only good parts are in the video.
They check the microphone and camera together. Kim Bum couldn't help but laugh at this new side of Jung Il Woo. Jung Il Woo announced that he would make a delicious lunch for Kim Bum.
Kim Bum commented, "I'm sure everyone knows how good he is at cooking. He is very famous among our friends." Jung Il Woo asked, "What is the best dish I cooked for you?" And Kim Bum replied, "Everything is delicious. Everything you cook is delicious. You never make anything bad."
Jung Il Woo became embarrassed by his response and Kim Bum joked, "Isn't that the answer you want?" Jung Il Woo announced that he had three menu choices for Kim Bum and the handsome actor burst into laughter when he realized that the "three menu choices" were actually three different types of ramen.
Kim Bum went on to say he doesn't really eat ramen and maybe try it about once a year. Then he added, "But I actually like the ramen that Il Woo made for me."
Jung Il Woo commented that he will be making a special collaboration ramen for Kim Bum. When Kim Bum offers to help, Jung Il Woo insists he does everything himself. Kim Bum grew worried that he didn't say anything, but Jung Il Woo assured him that they would be able to edit everything later.
Then Jung Il Woo explained, "The ramen I made today is what my grandfather used to make for me when I was little." Kim Bum laughed saying, "It means a lot" and Jung Il Woo sweetly added, "You are a significant person to me. I can't make you just plain ramen."
After a long and thorough process, Jung Il Woo finished making ramen and the two enjoyed it together. Kim Bum praised the food and Jung Il Woo was very happy to be able to share the meal with his old friend.
Towards the end of the video, Kim Bum said, "Happy New Year, everyone. I hope this year will be full of great things and I wish you all happiness." Jung Il Woo is promoting Kim Bum's new drama "Legal School" and Kim Bum shared his hope that many people will support Jung Il Woo's new drama "Bossam - Stealing Fate".
