Girls' Generation's Tae Yeon recently interacted with fans through a question and answer feature on Instagram Story. One of the questions from NCT fans caught the attention of netizens.
The NCT fan wrote, "I am a big fan of NCT, but can you tell Haechan that I love him?" Tae Yeon replied, “Of course,” including a giggle emoji.
Many netizens thought that NCT fans were impolite because they told Tae Yeon to convey their love for Haechan. But some highlighted Tae Yeon's short answer which was considered cool.
"His response to disrespectful fans was really cool, as expected of Tae Yeon," commented netizens. "Tae Yeon answered coolly," added another netizen. "Is he really a fan of NCT? He did it on purpose, right? Wow, he's very rude," said another. "I'm a fan of Tae Yeon and I feel this is not a problem," concluded another.
Meanwhile, Tae Yeon was recently reported to be dating VIXX's Ravi. Media outlet Joy News reports that the two have been dating for over a year. After the reports were released, SM Entertainment denied the rumors and stated that they were just close friends.
However the media quoted an acquaintance of Ravi and released another article stating that they were indeed dating. Ravi's agency GROOVL1N stated they were just friends, ending the rumors.
The reporter who first reported the dating rumors of Tae Yeon and Ravi stated that the two were indeed dating. According to the reporter named Lee Ye Ji, the two spent three days and two nights together from December 25 to 27.
Following the dating rumors, Ravi's agency announced that the singer was temporarily canceling all of his schedules. SM Entertainment on the other hand has announced that they will be taking legal action on Tae Yeon's behalf.
