Actress Song Hye Kyo seems to be returning to the small screen through a new drama project by South Korean hit scriptwriter Kim Eun Sook.

This encouraging news was reported by Korean media Ilgan Sports on Tuesday (05/01), which said that Kim Eun Sook had prepared a new script for her new drama.
It was further stated that actress Song Hye Kyo, who played in her drama "Descendants of the Sun" in 2016, has been offered to play the lead role of the drama.
Apart from the two combined, director Ahn Gil Ho will also be directing the drama, where he is known for his great works such as from 'Memories of the Alhambra', 'Stranger' Season 1 and 2, 'Record of Youth' and many others.
If this offer is accepted, then this will mark the return of Song Joong Ki's ex-husband to work with scriptwriter Kim Eun Sook since 2016.
Song Hye Kyo last appeared on the small screen with her acting career after starring in the drama 'Encounter' with Park Bo Gum in January 2019.

Not long after receiving the offer, Hwa & Dam, which is the new drama production house, confirmed Song Hye Kyo's joining as the cast of the drama. (www.kpopchart.net)
