The regular member of variety show 'Running Man' previously had a long history of acting and has starred in various dramas and films.
Through his agency, King Kong who is part of Starship Entertainment confirmed this, "Lee Kwang Soo has received an offer to star in the drama" Hero, "and he is positively reviewing the offer."
In the drama, Lee Kwang Soo was offered the main character named Oh Gyu Tae who is a former unemployed prosecutor. The character dislikes seeing the injustice of growing up from a polite family. Oh Gyu Tae also has extraordinary athletic abilities because he has studied boxing since he was a child.
