SBS has aired the last episode of "Penthouse" season 1 on Tuesday (5/1) last night. This episode finally reveals the real figure of the killer Shim Su Ryeon (Lee Ji Ah).
As is known, in the previous episode, Shim Su Ryeon was declared dead after being stabbed to death at the 100th floor Penthouse of Hera Palace. It is not clear who stabbed him, but Oh Yoon Hee (Eugene) who was there was seen crying hysterically while holding a knife. According to Nielsen Korea, the drama's end of the first season recorded national ratings with an average of 23.6 and 28.8 percent. This is a very significant increase from the previous best rating "Penthouse" which is 24.0 percent.
On the other hand, KBS's competitor drama “Royal Secret Agent” recorded a much lower rating. The latest episode of the drama starring L Infinite and Kwon Nara recorded national ratings with an average of 4.9 and 6.5 percent.
Meanwhile, "Penthouse" has been confirmed to air until its third season. Unlike the first, seasons 2 & 3 of "Penthouse" each have 12 episodes and will air in the SBS Friday - Saturday night slot.
