SM Entertainment has long been one of the leading companies in the K-Pop industry, and that's still true today. With such hugely popular artists as EXO, NCT, Red Velvet, Girls' Generation, SHINee, Super Junior, and many others, it's no wonder they continue to bring in lots of sales.
2020 was a very busy year for SM Entertainment. Here's a list of the 10 best selling albums from artists made by SM Entertainment throughout 2020.
The 10th position is occupied by Super Junior D&E's album, “Bad Blood”. Released on September 3, "Bad Blood" is Super Junior-D & E's fifth mini album. With the title track "BAD", the album has sold 191.7 thousand units in 2020. The 9th position is occupied by EXO's Suho solo album, "Self Portrait". Released on March 30th, “Self Portrait” is Suho's debut mini album with the title track “Let's Love”. This album sold 252.2 thousand units in 2020.
Position 8 is Kai's solo album. Released on November 30, KAI (开) is Kai's debut mini album. With the title song “Mmmh”, this album sold 299.3 thousand units in 2020. Moving to the 7th position there was an album released on May 19, “Neo Zone: The Final Round”. This is NCT 127's second repackaged album (from Neo Zone) with the title track “Punch”. This album sold 351.5 thousand units in 2020.
Entering the 6th position is "Neo Zone" which is NCT 127's second full album. With the title song "Kick It", this album has sold 463.8 thousand units in 2020. Entering the top 5 is the album duo EXO- SC, "1 Billion Views". Released on July 13, this is EXO-SC's first full-length album. With the title song “1 Billion Views”, this album sold 486.5 thousand units in 2020.
