Miss Monte Cristo will tell the thrilling story of a woman who almost died when her life was destroyed by the friend she trusted the most. After deciding to take revenge on the people who betrayed him, he returns to steal the life he has stolen from him.
Lee So Yeon plays Go Eun Jo, who loses everything at the happiest moment of her life. Meanwhile Choi Yeo Jin plays the character Oh Ha Ra, a greedy and arrogant heir. The two of them are good friends but end up being enemies of each other.
In the main poster released, Lee So Yeon sits on the throne bench like a Queen in a fiery red dress that hints at revenge. His hands were wrapped around the neck of Choi Yeo Jin who was sitting opposite him. The poster is inscribed with a threatening line that reads "I'll show you what it means to break."
