Double Patty is one of the most eagerly awaited films to be released this year. This film is Irene Red Velvet's debut on the big screen, competing acting with actor Shin Seung Ho who is known through the web drama A-Teen, drama Moments of 18 and Love Alarm.

Double Patty tells the story of young people chasing their dreams. Irene plays Lee Hyun Ji who dreams of becoming a news anchor. She works as a babysitter during the day and works part-time at a burger restaurant at night.
He always went out early in the morning to read the newspaper, study and work all day long. Hyun Ji doesn't give up on her dream despite living through the tiring reality. She starts hooking up with Kang Woo Ram who comes to order a Double Patty right before the burger restaurant closes every night.
Shin Seung Ho plays Kang Woo Ram, a rising ssireum (wrestling) altlet. Previously he was also known as Raja ssireum in his middle school. In order to strengthen the characters in the film, Shin Seung Ho actually practiced ssireum in a place used by real athletes.
