BTS won a series of awards at the second day of the GDA event which focuses on the physical album division. Also see the name of the winner for a number of categories such as Bonsang to Best Rookie Artist.

The Golden Disc Awards (GDA) is an award event that was held at the beginning of the year. Just like the previous event, GDA 2021 will also be held for 2 days.
The first day of GDA was held on Saturday (9/1) and focused on the digital album division. In the first day of the awards ceremony, IU took home the Grand Prize Digital Daesang and Digital Bonsang trophies.
The second day (10/1) was focused on the physical album division award. In the event, Bangtan Boys won a number of awards including the Grand Prize (Daesang) Album of the Year trophy and also the Bonsang Division Album to the Curaprox Golden Disc Most Popular Artist.
BTS's victory is thanks to their hit album "Map of the Soul: 7". BTS's fourth full album, "Map of the Soul: 7", was released on February 21, 2020 and features the title track "ON". The album was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
The 35th GDA on the second day was hosted by MC Sung Si Kyung and Lee Da Hee. The percentage of determining the final winner of GDA is 60 percent based on the final winner chosen 60 percent based on sales and 40% based on an assessment by a panel of judges. The judging panel is composed of a ceremonial executive committee along with 50 industry specialists including music distribution representatives, music program directors, music critics, journalists who specialize in music, and more.
They will evaluate qualitative measures such as release of musical achievement and influence on society. Online voting itself will not be conducted for the main category awards (Daesang) and will only be held for popularity awards.
