Billboard reports that BTS (Bangtan Boys) is the second largest selling album with total album sales in the United States in 2020 of 1.54 million copies sold in their entire catalog.
Taylor Swift ranks first with sales of 1.94 million. BTS's “Map of the Soul: 7” is the second-highest-selling album in the United States for 2020 with 674,009 sales.
This chart is based on physical sales and digital album downloads, not overall album unit equivalents (apart from album sales, it also includes album equivalent songs from song downloads and stream volume). In the top 10 album ranking based on overall album unit equivalents, Lil Baby's “My Turn” took No. 1 with 2.632 million units, and no Korean artist has ranked in the Top 10.
