Kim Dong Wook received an offer to star in tvN's new drama, You Are My Spring. This was announced by the actor's agency, KeyEast Entertainment, on Thursday (31/12/2020).

"Kim Dong Wook received an offer to star in the drama and is currently considering it very positively," the agency said as quoted by Soompi, Thursday (31/12/2020).

If he accepts the offer, Kim Dong Wook will revive the play as Joo Young Do, a psychiatrist who helps his patients heal their emotional wounds. But behind his profession, Joo keeps the wounds of the past.
He still couldn't forgive himself for not being able to save his brother and one of his patients. Broadly speaking, You Are My Spring is about three adults who live with their pasts when they were 7 years old.

Joo Young Do's play was originally left to actor Yoon Kye Sang. But today (31/12/2020), tvN announced, the actor could not accept the offer because of his busy work schedule.
Actress Seo Hyun Jin is also considering an offer to become the lead actress in the drama. The drama You Are My Spring will be directed by Jung Ji Hyun, the director behind the drama The King: Eternal Monarch.

Meanwhile, Lee Mina worked on the script, who previously wrote the drama script for Bubblegum. tvN plans to broadcast the drama in 2021. *
