Towards the end of 2020, Spotify has now announced the most popular K-Pop artists and songs this year.
Based on data released by Spotify, BTS is the most popular K-Pop artist in 2020 with total streaming reaching 4.7 billion.
After BTS, BLACKPINK and TWICE followed in second and third as the most popular K-Pop artists on Spotify this year.
The most popular K-Pop song category on Spotify was successfully occupied by BTS's 'Dynamite' song, which broke Spotify's record with a total of 12.6 streams in 24 hours.
In second place was BLACKPINK's 'How You Like That', followed by BTS and Halsey's 'Boy With Luv', BLACKPINK's 'Ice Cream' and Selena Gomez, and BTS's 'Black Swan'.
IU managed to rank first as the most popular female K-Pop idol on Spotify, while Agust D is a male K-Pop idol who has gained huge popularity on Spotify this year.
The OST for drama “Itaewon Class” sung by V BTS, “Sweet Night” became the most popular OST this year.
