The unpleasant news came from one of the boy groups made by WM Entertainment, B1A4. One of the boy group's song MV, “Like A Movie” is thought to have been plagiarized by an Indian artist. WM Entertainment has finally spoken up about it.

On November 25, Indian artists Tony Kakkar and Neha Kakkar released the music video for "Shona Shona" on YouTube. Fans immediately pointed out the number of similarities between this music video and the music video for B1A4's "Like a Movie", which was directed by Yoo Sung Gyun of production company Sunny Visual.

A similar scene includes a man falling in love with a woman from a payphone booth, placing an umbrella over the cloud flowing over the woman's head. Not only that, there are also scenes where couples talk through paper cups, fly through a room filled with donuts, and dance romantically under the light of the full moon.

The similarities between the music videos include general storylines, backgrounds, colors, and various details. It was also reported that the music video for "Shona Shona" copied elements from IZ * ONE's Japanese single "Beware", including a road and subway set as well as various color and background details.

On YouTube, the credit for “Shona Shona” mentions B1A4's “Like a Movie” and IZ * ONE's “Beware” as inspiration for the set design. Yet fans find too many similarities that cannot be called inspirational.

Regarding this, WM Entertainment as the agency that oversees B1A4 finally spoke up. WM Entertainment has stated that they are studying reports that B1A4's "Like A Movie" music video was copied by other artists.

"We are aware of the plagiarism problem related to the Indian artist. We are carefully reviewing possible responses," said the agency representative B1A4.

B1A4 themselves just made their comeback last October. B1A4 returns with their fourth album "Origine", which will also mark the group's first release in almost two years.

This will not only mark B1A4's first comeback album in 3 years, but will also be the group's first comeback since becoming 3 members. Besides, the last time B1A4 released a full album was in November 2016 with their 3rd full album "Good Timing".
