Lee Jin Wook underwent an interview session regarding his acting in the hit Netflix drama "Sweet Home". The actor who was born in 1981 has opened up about his role as Pyeon Sang Wook, a former hitman.
Lee Jin Wook initially explained his reason for agreeing to star in "Sweet Home". "The setting where the desires of each individual are expressed as monsters is a new and refreshing concept. Their story and process of becoming monsters is very dramatic," said Lee Jin Wook.
"The story of each character is also good at expressing modern society. I think we can present a good story together with all the other great actors. And the biggest reason is because I always wanted to work with director Lee Eung Bok," added Lee Jin Wook.
Lee Jin Wook also responded to praise regarding his acting transformation in "Sweet Home". "We are very grateful for all the good responses after the release of the drama. I breathed a sigh of relief," said Lee Jin Wook.
"I am very happy to receive a good evaluation of my character. This character is something I don't think Lee Jin Wook will do and I work very hard to express this role well," added Lee Jin Wook.
"Pyeon Sang Wook lives a life like a monster and shows a man who became a monster trying to become a human, who eventually chose to become a human. I am very happy to receive such good praise," continued Lee Jin Wook.
"Actors like me, who have been acting since they were young, will find praise like this for success. It feels like when I was cast in my first drama when I was young," concluded Lee Jin Wook.
