Kai finally followed in the footsteps of his fellow groups and became the next EXO member to debut as a soloist. Through his solo album "KAI (开)", the 1994-born singer received a lot of praise.

The music video for the title track on the album "KAI (开)" titled "Mmmh" was released earlier, at 12 noon local time. The music video shows Kai's improved dancing skills and vocals.

The "Mmmh" MV also featured Kai's charismatic and sexy figure through the choreography of the song and the costumes he wore. This solo song is also proof of the seriousness of the owner of the real name Kim Jongin in music.

The release of Kai's new album and title track has also become a topic of conversation among netizens on the online community site Theqoo. Not a few of them were amazed by Kai's vocals even though Kai was not part of the vocal line in the group.

"He's like a handsome guy from another planet hehe. The concept is perfect for him," commented netizens. "The concept and choreography are very good, very well suited to Kai," said another netizen. "To be honest, I'm surprised he sings better than I thought ..." said another.

Even though I'm not a fan, I focus on watching it," another commented. "The song is good. The MV is very good, I'm looking forward to Kai's performance," added another.

The album "KAI (开)" itself contains songs from various genres, but is dominated by the R&B genre that Kai wants. The album contains 6 tracks, namely "Mmmh" as the title track as well as "Nothing on Me", "Reason", "Ride or Die", "Amnesia", and "Hello Stranger".
