The latest Korean drama “A Love So Beautiful” tells the story of a woman's first love who has feelings for her neighbor for 17 years.
Director Seo Minjeong, Kim Yo Han, So Joo Yeon, and Yeo Hoi Hyun also discussed more about “A Love So Beautiful” through a press conference held on Monday (28/12).

1. Talented new cast
"A Love So Beautiful" is Kim Yo Han's acting debut who previously gained popularity through the survival reality program "Produce X 101" and debuted as a K-Pop singer through the groups X1 and WEi.
The director praised him by saying, "Kim Yo Han is a smart person and is able to bring Cha Heon's character well." Meanwhile, So Joo Yeon started her career as a model before venturing into acting in 2018.
Some of the drama projects he has starred in include 'Dr. Romantic S2 ′ and 'Lovestruck in the City' which are currently broadcasting. Yeo Hoi Hyun himself made his debut in 2014 through the drama “Pinocchio” and has stolen a lot of attention with his good looks and adorable charms on various shows. The story of "A Love So Beautiful" started in 2006, when the characters were still in high school. So Joo Yeon plays the character Shin Sol Yi who is cheerful and open with her feelings for the character Cha Heon, played by Kim Yo Han.

Even though it is a remake of the popular Chinese drama and of the same name, “A Love So Beautiful” has its own differences. Director Seo Minjeong expressed that he wanted to focus on relatable aspects and added some epilogues to show the characters' deeper feelings.
There are idol trainee characters who sing a lot, so you will hear some songs from the past that are familiar. The director also said, “Dae Sung is a really cool and sincere character in the original drama, so I want to give him a present at the end. 4. Chemistry of the main players
So Joo Yeon and Yeo Hoi Hyun were reunited in this series after previously competing acting in the drama "I Hate Going to Work". Yeo Hoi Hyun commented on how So Joo Yeon always made sure that the two of them could chat whenever they met, and praised her way of leading the group.
The actor also mentioned Jeong Jin Hwan and Jo Hye Joo, who complete the friendship between five people in this drama.
