Park Shin Hye plays Seo Yeon, a woman who tries to change the past. He communicates by phone with Young Sook, played by Jeon Jong Seo, another woman who tries to change the future.

This film also stars Kim Sung Ryung, Lee El, Park Ho San, Oh Jung Se, and Lee Dong Hwi. Park Shin Hye was recently interviewed about her latest film, and revealed why this film should be watched by Korean film lovers.

"This film does not tell a story that occurs between a woman and a man, but a film that focuses on women. I think this is a film that is well produced," he said.

"The Call is a film where women take the lead from their places, with their independent opinions and refuse to be controlled," continued Park Shin Hye.

As Seo Yeon, Park Shin Hye had to show various emotions in the film The Call. Even in one scene, the actress had to swear a lot to show an overflowing emotion.

"I'm worried that Seo Yeon is too obedient when Young Sook controls her, I won't be able to show a different side from before. I thought about how I can show Seo Yeon has an independent perspective, not a character that can be managed like the other main characters," added Park Shin. Hye.

"My emotions will build when acting, more than what is written in the scenario. So a lot of scenes are improvised. (About the swearing scene) It doesn't feel uncomfortable, but I try to delve more into the existing situation after gathering emotions," he concluded.

The Call can now be watched on Netflix.
