EXO's Chanyeol celebrates his 28th birthday (international age) on Friday (27/11). As usual, EXO-L celebrated its idol's birthday with a number of projects.
One of the projects held by EXO-L is enlivening Twitter with the hashtag #HappyChanyeolDay. The hashtag has successfully become a trending topic filled with congratulations delivered by EXO-L.
Not only that, fans around the world also celebrate Chanyeol's birthday with different projects. In South Korea, billboards have turned into colorful congratulations for Chanyeol.
Even the baiduCHANbar fanbase specially made a 110 meter long exhibition at Hongik University station. The exhibition was in the form of a series of achievements made by Chanyeol during his career as a musician.
On the other hand, Vietnamese fans specially put a sticker containing birthday wishes for Chanyeol on the LOEY Bus. The bus will pass 9 bus stops, including the SM Entertainment stop.
It doesn't stop at the billboard. Chanyeol's birthday is also celebrated with donations.
The ChanyeolGlobal fanbase opens donations which will later be given to the Children's Leukemia Foundation in South Korea. Fans around the world can donate via a PayPal account that is dedicated specifically to this project.
Fans in Indonesia also enlivened Chanyeol's birthday project with a tree planting project. Created by Aerina Union through the L ProtectHutan website, it invites EXO-L in Indonesia to plant 1,127 trees for Pantai Bahagia, located in Bahagia Village, Bekasi.
Donations have now reached the target, and will continue to grow in the future. Happy birthday, Chanyeol!
