STAYC's debut music video production team expressed their apologies.
On Monday (16/11), Legend Film as STAYC's debut music video production house entitled 'So Bad' released an official statement.
Through this statement they conveyed, “As the party in charge of the production of the music video, we are involved in the planning, direction and art process. We take full responsibility for the plagiarism controversy, feeling very ashamed and devastated. "
Based on the statement, they admitted that they decided to use decorations such as mirror balls, confetti, silver foil backdrops and trees after consulting the PD during the production phase.
"We didn't intend to copy the scene," and admitted that he only used decoration tools that are usually used by Legend Film. "However, we admit that the plagiarism controversy on that scene is inevitable."
They not only conveyed an apology to HIGHUP Entertainment as STAYC's agency, to the STAYC members and staff involved, but also to STAYC fans and to everyone.
The apologies were made after fans discovered the similarities between STAYC's' So Bad 'music video set and Miley Cyrus' music video for' Midnight Sky '. (www.kpopchart.net)
