Yuri doesn't want SNSD to be said to have 9 members, insists there are only 8

Girls' Generation has been a group with 8 members since Jessica Jung left the group in 2014. As one of the members of this legendary girl group, Kwon Yuri doesn't want other people to mistake the number of her group members.

Recently, Yuri guested on the radio show MBCFM4U's God Morning FM It's Jang Sung Kyu hosted by Jang Sung Kyu. Here, the radio DJ talks about Girls' Generation's 13th anniversary, which fell last August.

When talking to the girl group, Jang Sung Kyu apparently made a mistake in mentioning the number of members. He gave 9 instead of 8, saying, "Maybe, even though it's something we can't predict, don't you nine want to get married?"

In response to Jang Sung Kyu's question, Yuri hesitated for a moment before saying, "Ah ... That's definitely not true". The 1989-born singer also added with a laugh, "And currently there are 8 (members)."

Jang Sung Kyu immediately corrected his words after hearing Yuri's correction. And they continued the previous chat without feeling awkward.

Girls' Generation members themselves got together to celebrate their 13th annversary. Each shared photos of the get-together on social media and wrote touching messages for fans.

Meanwhile, Girls' Generation last actively promoted the eighth time in 2017 where they released the album "Holiday Night" which is an album to celebrate their decade of debut. Now each member is busy with individual activities.
