On October 16, 2020, YG Entertainment announced the exciting news that BLACKPINK's Jennie 'SOLO' has surpassed 240.8 million streams on Spotify.
This achievement made the song 'SOLO' the song of the Korean soloist that has been streamed the most on the Spotify platform so far.
This record was previously maintained by PSY with its mega hit song “Gangnam Style” which to date has 240.6 million streams.
“SOLO” previously also became the first Korean soloist song to reach 200 million streams in April this year.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK is currently busy with their comeback promotions after releasing their first full album titled 'The Album' on October 2nd.
