BLACKPINK has achieved their feat once again through their latest album "The Album".
With their first full album, "The Album", BLACKPINK managed to rank at # 2 on the Billboard 200, which is the highest record for a K-pop girl group of all time.
BLACKPINK also set a record by becoming the 2nd girl group from all over the world, to achieve the award which has not been achieved by a girl group since April 2008 when Danity Kane reached # 1 with “Welcome to the Doll House“.
In hindsight, BLACKPINK's achievements have seen a steady climb starting with # 40 with the album 'Square Up' in 2018, and # 24 with 'Kill This Love' last year.
