Former JYP Coach Reveals Conflict With Agency Because of ITZY's Ryujin

This story began when he first worked at JYP as a trainer. He was ITZY's coach until the group debuted, so he knows the members quite well.

Even though he had many stories to tell, he decided to tell one story about Ryujin.

At that time, he was in charge of creating the choreography and concept for Ryujin's appearance on JTBC's program 'Mixnine'. But he ended up getting into a fight with the company about this show.

JYP wanted to use a general song that was popular at the time, but JayB felt the song was too general and boring to use in the show. He continued to push for a different style of music and chose Taylor Swift's “Look What You Made Me Do”.

He did not resign and continued to insist until the company finally agreed to his choice. He firmly believed that this different style of song would help Ryujin in showing off his abilities well. As a result, he made an extraordinary appearance which was praised by many.
