Lisa wondered why they ate so much, and Jennie explained, "At that time, we didn't have money to order food every day. So when we went shopping for groceries once a month, we would always buy strawberry jam and eggs."
The members also talked about the horrors of living with cockroaches and centipedes. Jennie said that Lisa was the bravest when dealing with insects and Jisoo said, "We will be behind her and support her, and then (picking up the insects she catches), she will ask, 'What should I do next?'"
Then they discussed the difficulties of living in a dormitory. Jisoo admitted that he was a bit sorry to move into the dorm at that time because life was very difficult. Rose shares that she didn't even know that she would separate from her parents so quickly. He remembered being shocked when his parents said goodbye to him and cried in the hostel alone afterward. Rose said, "I had a mental breakdown because we had to do it for months. But I started to want to dance well after seeing Lisa. She was very good at dancing, and I thought I wanted to be like her."
A staff member asked if they sang other artists' songs when they were trainees. Jennie answered, "Of course. We sang more than one hundred songs," and Jisoo added, "We didn't have our own songs at the time."
